Below you are able to create a user and login to the extraction tool used to download data from SwedPop.
Data that according to the GDPR is defined as personal data or data that is subject to other restrictions cannot be downloaded from the extraction tool. Access to data can be given after a vetting procedure by the SwedPop Data Access Committee and in relevant cases also by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority. In order to gain access to restricted data, you have to specify the purpose of the research and define what data is needed.
GDPR
When you register as a SwedPop user, you accept that your personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the European Council, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More information about GDPR on EU-LEX website. Access to this data is restricted to authorized persons for the purpose of maintaining the service. We compile and summarize aggregate user data for statistical purposes. We will not share any personal information you provide to us. Your personal data can be removed from the system upon request. If your personal data is removed, your user account and any previous data extractions will be permanently erased.
COOKIES
Cookies are used to improve the website’s services. A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer. It contains information that is necessary for functions and performance. PASSWORD
Your password is stored in encrypted form and cannot be retrieved. If forgotten, the password has to be reset.
Definitions
Unrestricted data: Data without links to now living identified or identifiable persons and without any other legal or ethical constraints is available for extraction.
Restricted data: Access to data that according to the GDPR is defined as personal data or data that is subject to other restrictions can be given after a vetting procedure by the SwedPop Data Access Committee and in relevant cases also by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority.
